Accept Answers

In the last few months I managed to get myself into a right old muddle. Normally when God answers my prayers the answers are obvious so I don’t ever question them. However, over the last few months the answers have been abit vague and I have found myself questioning the answer, saying to God ‘is this your answer or am I just reading into this?’ Every ‘answer’ that came my way I began to question until I was running around asking so many questions and never accepting the answers. I then realised that this is exactly what satan wants us to do. He loves when we are running around in circles, getting ourselves all in a muddle. If we are running around in circles then we are not moving forward and that’s exactly what he wants.

So I decided or rather the Holy Spirit informed me that the best thing to do was to accept the answer! If I had been praying about something and something came along that looked like an answer then I was to accept that it was Gods answer and trust that if I was wrong God would soon put me right.

A situation came along where I tried and tested this process and it worked.  Don't allow satan to have you chasing your tail, use the above prayer process, it works!

When God is quiet

I think that God is silent with us sometimes because we don’t give him space to speak. We come into his presence with our arms full of the situations in our lives, the things that are bothering us and causing us great pain. We come into his presence and these are the biggest things on our agenda but sometime they are not the biggest things on Gods agenda. What seems like the biggest thing in our lives, the thing we think God needs to sort out/speak to us about might not actually be the thing that God wants to speak to us about.

God know every situation, circumstance in our lives, he knows them better than us and he knows when they need dealing with. What we need to do when we come into his presence is lay all our issue on the table, push them aside and ask God what he wants to talk about. If God wants to speak to you about any of the issues that you have laid on the table then he will put them on the table.
